Drift diving was pretty much created in Cozumel, because of the perfect current that flows along the island, that allows divers and snorkelers to use very little energy to enjoy the reefs in Cozumel. This current that flows along the island also helps keep the corals healthy and clean, and adds to the crystal clear visibility Cozumel is famous for. There is a unique Mayan Ruin and is said the Mayans has mysterious use of the ruin, that you can discover on our Private Jeep Tour. Cozumel is full of history and culture, and the things you will learn and discover will truly amaze you. I know I was when I first ventured Cozumel and learned about this fascinating island. At the tip of Punta Sur Park, you'll find one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. Its perfect for younger kids, or for anyone who just wants to relax in the water without getting crushed by waves. The tip of the island wraps around, creating a barrier, which protects the beach from waves. The water is very shallow for a half a mile out, which makes it great for little ones who want to splash around. If you dont want to swim, there are shaded hammocks that you can relax on. This location is also one of the best places to snorkel from shore, but it is a far swim to get to the reefs. We recommend only experienced snorkelers and swimmers take advantage of this shore snorkeling location. One of the great things about Cozumel, is that many of the great reefs are easily accessible from shore, so if your not taking a snorkel tour, you can still take advantage of Cozumel's amazing reefs. Our Private tours all include a private snorkel tour at the best reef locations accessible from shore, at a private beach club.
