About This Tour
Why Choose Our Custom Private Cozumel Jeep Tour?
We have received the State's Health Certification from the Secretary of State Tourism, which is required to operate tours. It's difficult finding the best Cozumel Jeep tour when they all offer the same thing — that's because every online tour company is selling the exact same Jeep tour in Cozumel. Some descriptions are nicer than others as well as prices, but it's all the same. They are large group Cozumel jeep tours that could have up to 20 jeeps at a time! So don't expect to get personal assistance from your tour guide. We allow our guests the freedom they are looking for when taking a tour. Avoid crowds and enjoy the treasures of this magnificent island.
So What Makes Us Different?
Our Custom Cozumel Jeep Tour is a private Jeep adventure that allows you to create your own adventure with your own Private Guide and Jeep. We would never put our guests with anyone else, because our family understands you are looking for a more personalized experience.
When we vacationed in Cozumel, we did not enjoy being in large group tours. We wanted to wander off and explore on our own, instead of being held back by others. But finding and understanding the different sights would be difficult without a guide because of the short time we had on the island. So after moving to Cozumel, we created our Custom Private Jeep tour — which provides you with your own private guide who speaks fluent English and gives you the freedom and personalization many travelers are looking for. This is a completely private tour, and the only other person with you would be your private tour guide.
We have the #1 private tour guides who are featured in many of our 5 Star reviews. Our private guides are truly magnificent and very knowledgeable about Cozumel culture and history because many are natives to Cozumel who grew up living this unique and fascinating culture. We understand that most of our guests only get to vacation once a year, so we work hard to make sure they have the most magnificent time during their trip.
We will also drive the jeep if you do not want to drive and want to kick back and relax.
PUNTA SUR PARK — ECOLOGICAL RESERVE (Admission Included)
Punta Sur Park is one of our most popular attractions and we include the entrance into the Park and Beach. Just the entrance alone is $14 per person not including the beach and snorkeling. Punta Sur Park is at the southern tip of Isla Cozumel and offers an amazing exploration of Cozumel's most spectacular ecological reservation. When first arriving you will visit one of the world's most amazing scenic views from atop the Celarain Lighthouse. There is a nautical museum at its base. Then your private guide will take you to discover the Laguna de Colombia — part of a three-lagoon system and a habitat of crocodiles. You may see many resident and migratory waterfowl and many other rare and unique creatures. Crocs can be seen from shore or the bridge that stretches pretty far out into the lagoon. There is a unique Mayan Ruin, and you'll discover the history behind it from your private guide and find out how the ruin is still used to this day! The gorgeous beach of Punta Sur has very calm water — no waves — perfect for all ages. The water is so crystal clear it looks like glass.
East Side of Cozumel — "the Other Side"
We take you to the other side of Cozumel, which is 7 miles of secluded oceanfront and beach front with magnificent white sand beaches, blowholes, mesmerizing rock formations, caves, secret beaches, off-road paths, and much more. The beaches on this side of the island are the most spectacular and much nicer than the overcrowded Passion Island Beach. There's not many places like it — there is no development, no electricity, just natural ocean and beach front that will surely take your breath away. Your private guide will take you to explore the best sites and discover hidden beaches and caves that many tourists will never experience. There are only a few scattered beach restaurant/bars that fit perfectly here.
Snorkeling From Shore
We chose to take our guests to a private beach club instead of the crowded spots. This is one of the very best locations to snorkel from the shore! Our private guide takes you on your own private snorkel tour to discover a beautiful reef that is a short swim from the beach. Even people who don't know how to swim have taken our private snorkel tour and loved it! You will be given snorkel gear and a professional snorkel life vest made specifically for snorkeling — this allows you to just float above without having to know how to swim. The water is nice and shallow so you'll be at arm's length to discover and capture Cozumel's mesmerizing reefs. For those who do not want to snorkel, you may relax on the beach or pool and enjoy the complimentary beer or water we provide.
BEACHFRONT LUNCH (Included)
During your exploration of the other side of Cozumel, you'll stop at a beach bar/restaurant with the most magnificent view of the Caribbean. You'll enjoy an authentic Mexican meal — we have alternative food choices for every dietary requirement. We have lunch for vegetarians, and great options for the pickiest eaters, all included. We also include a cooler of beer and water so you'll always have refreshments when relaxing on one of the gorgeous beaches.
Tequila Tour
After your snorkel and beach break, we head over to the Tequila Tour, where you'll discover how Mexicans turn a spiky plant into their national drink. You'll get to taste a variety of some amazing margaritas! Non-alcoholic drinks are available for kids. You have the option to opt out of the tequila tour and do something else if you like — nothing is set in stone.
